Demarcus Ware just finished the 2011 campaign with a total of 26.5 sacks eclipsing Michael Strahan’s single season record of 22.5.  Being a die-hard Jet’s fan, I believe that Brett Favre intentionally fell down resulting in Mark Gastineau still being the “real” leader with his 22.0 sacks in 1984.
