Congrats to Dan Flynn

I want to take a moment and congratulate Mr. Dan Flynn for completing the regular season of his first replay. I know how difficult it is to complete a full season replay but you plowed through it with the expertise of an established replayer. You really brought the 1981 season to life with your reporting style. I’m so looking forward to seeing the post-season play out, especially with the Jets winning the AFC East.

Your contributions to this site are greatly appreciated and I’m looking forward to your future replays.

  1. Congratulations Dan, this has been a fun replay to follow. So much so that I am going to start rolling my own 1981 replay in the next few days.

  2. Greg, Thanks again for the kind words. It’s been a pleasure. One small correction, this is my first replay with the “modern” APBA Football game. I did complete both 1969 and 1971 with the old game. Maybe I’ll post those results here when I get a chance.

  3. Dan – I have been playing APBA Football for over 50 years . . . . and have never completed a full replay. I have started about ten of them, and finally abandoned that idea and have settled on a Tournament instead, with significantly fewer games. I know what a huge undertaking this is . . . . and I am very impressed with your success!! Can’t wait for the next one!!!!
