Actual: The Raiders could only score against the Chargers on a pair of field goals by Gene Mingo while Paul Lowe ran seven yards for a San Diego touchdown and John Hadl passed 25 yards to Lance Alworth for another in the fourth quarter after Ken Graham intercepted a Dick Wood pass. Rookie Gene Foster, playing for the injured Keith Lincoln, was the Charger’s big ground gainer with 104 yards in 21 attempts. Lowe picked up 67 in 18 tries.
