How do you lose both of your quarterbacks and still win? Just ask the Chiefs . . . because that’s exactly what happened in their game against the Colts. With Indianapolis up 10-0 early in quarter number two, Kansas City QB, Alex Smith, went out with an injury. Enter backup, Nick Foles. All Foles did was to complete 8 of his 10 passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns!
But, Foles was knocked from the game in the third quarter with a three point lead . . . and, back came a hobbling Smith who did just enough to hold off the Colts and lead the Chiefs to victory!
