Boyd’s 1997 NFL Replay – Game 60 – Tennessee at Pittsburgh

Slash continues to impress!

Kordell Stewart has been the talk of the first quarter of the season. In his first season as the Steelers’ signal caller, he has dazzled the fans and reeked havoc on opposing defenses. Slash’s legs have provided dynamic runs but also allowed him to hit on some big pass plays. This was evident in the Steelers’ 28-10 win over the Tennessee Oilers in Three Rivers Stadium on Sunday. Kordell threw for only 98 yards, but he hit on three big TD passes in the first quarter to pace the Steelers to a 21-7 1st quarter lead. Stewart also slashed through the Oilers’ defense with 74 yards scrambling out of the pocket. The Steelers stay undefeated on the season at 4-0, while the Oilers drop to 2-2 on the season.
