Old Veteran Murray kicks the Vikes to first win!
In his 17th year in the league, veteran kicker Eddie Murray had a heck of a day in the Vikings 32-11 victory over the Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Murray was six for six in field kicks along with 2 of 2 on extra points. He scored 20 of the Vikings 32 points on the night.
After an 0-4 start, the Vikings finally got a win despite driving up and down the field but shutting down in the red zone. The Vikings were 3 of 12 on 3rd down conversions and were forced into field goals instead of TDs. WR Chris Carter had 8 catches and 127 yards.
The Eagles are struggling to start the season too. They are now 1-3 on the season and will face division rival Redskins on Sunday. The Vikings now 1-4 will travel to the heat in Phoenix.
