Several years ago, Phil Molloy created the below table to add some flavor to APBA’s rule regarding punts that land on or inside the opponent’s 9-yard line.

A few months back, Mark Zarb revised Phil’s original chart and shared it with me. I’ve used it for the last 100-games that I’ve played and absolutely love it. It has actually determined the outcome of a game when a punt rolled dead at the one-yard line, and a safety occurred one play later. Whichever table you decide to use, it will enhance your gaming experience.

Thanks for posting this Bro. The second chart adds more risk to allowing a ball to fall inside the 10 yard line.
