Vikings are starting to roll
After a dismal start to the season, the Minnesota Vikings are finally starting to get their offense into high gear. The Vikings started 0-4 but got their first win last week against Philadelphia. The Vikings continued to improve and lit up the scoreboard Sunday in their victory over the Arizona Cardinals, 38-24, at Sun Devil Stadium.
Robert Smith sliced through the Cardinals’ defense and busted out with a 198-yard/2TD performance. QB Brad Johnson had his best game of the season as he threw for 193 yards and 3 TDs with no interceptions. The Vikings totaled 403 total yards.
Kent Graham tried to keep the Cardinals close as he threw for 370 yards and a score. Rob Moore had a great game with 12 catches for 210 yards and a TD. Frank Sanders had 8 catches for 83 yards.
The Vikings (2-4) will try to keep the winning streak going next week as they face Carolina at home, while the Cardinals (0-5) will try to get into the win column as they face division rival NY Giants.
