Turnovers & Special Teams doom the Bills
Four interceptions & three fumbles on special teams doomed the Buffalo Bills Sunday against the New England Patriots at Foxboro.
Alex Van Pelt came into replace an injured Todd Collins for the Bills and he threw four picks, 2 of them to Patriot defensive back Willie Clay. Then Jeff Burris muffed two punts and Eric Moulds lost a fumble on a kick return.
For the Patriots, they got another explosive day from QB Drew Bledse. He threw for 199 yards and 3 TDs. He threw two to All-Pro TE Ben Coates. Bledsoe now has 13 TDs through six games this season.
The Patriots (5-1) will travel to New York to take on the surging Jets next week. The Bills (2-4) will travel to Indianapolis to take on division foe the Colts.
