Scott Fletcher’s “Fletch67” is one of the best innovations ever created for APBA Football.  Finally, defensive team ratings have an impact on the outcome of each play and really separate the better defenses from the rest of the pack.  Once the offensive play is called, simply roll the dice to determine the defensive alignment for that play.  For example, if the defense has a 44/40 (pass/run) rating and the offense called a running play, find “40” on the far left column and read across.  A dice roll between 11-34 would place the defense in “G” alignment, 35-54 in “S” and 55-66 in “D”.
