2012 Allocation Tables for Receptions, Sacks & Interceptions
My dear friend, Mark DerGarabedian, is at it again. He was kind enough to share his latest creation. He has used Phil Molloy’s “Dice Range Calculator” and created allocation ratings for receivers and defenders based off their actual statistics. He also included a “Rushing Attempt” breakout by percentage for each team. In addition, he listed the starting offensive and defensive platoons and there point ratings. The artwork and workmanship is tremendous!!! After reviewing both documents it made me want to replay the season.

Doug Reese’s “Play Calling” System
Mr. Doug Reese was nice enough to give me permission to post his latest “APBA Football Play Calling” innovation. His system is well thought out, provides that “Face-to-Face” feel for solitaire players and prevents gaming the system. It’s easy to implement, offers flexibility (i.e., either the system or coach calls the plays) without drastically increasing the time to complete a game. In addition, he addresses alternatives for “Timing & Scoring” and an “Audible” system. Great job Doug!
For any questions regarding his creation, Doug’s email address is dwreese@bellsouth.net.

Why I Love APBA Football
Without a doubt, my favorite aspect of APBA Football is reviewing the overall team statistics of my replays against the actual statistics. Earlier today I finished a game between the Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles and was amazed at the accuracy of the offensive statistics of both teams after 13 games. After all these years of playing this game, I’m still in awe of how a dice driven game can render such results when played realistically. This is just another small example of my “Pursuit of the Perfect Replay.”
